Target audience is vital and very relevant to music plus music videos.

 

For example Justin Beieber music is target to an audience teenage girls, as they can relate to the lyrics that he is singing. Although as he is growing older, his target audience age is growing with him.

                    

 Michael Buble is often targeted on middle aged unisex as his songs are appreciating his kill.

                  

Children's music consists of lullabies, sing-alongs and stories as it is easier for them to follow.

 

Classical music is often targeted at the older generation as it is often calm and relaxing.
